Me and my finished tiny house. I hope it will keep somebody warm.
Joe from LIHI came by today to pick up the finished house. Here he is loading is onto his truck.
We did it over two days, but we finally got the shingles on. All that is left is the trim.
We are almost complete! Big thanks to all the volunteers who helped put up insulation, walls, paint and make a run to the dump. You all rock! Thank you: Anika, Anya, Emmett, Fred, Jenny, Jodi, Justin, Quincy, Spencer, Stephen and Willie.
Thanks to Kirk, Xander and Theo, we installed all the insulation and the gable ends of the home.
After a long break, we put the roof on. Big thanks to our volunteers: Amely, Brandon, Craig, Ryan and Wally. Later, my dad and I put on tar paper to keep the rain out.
The Wilksons came over and we wrapped the walls in moisture barrier and put up the siding.
I didn't think we would get this far so fast. Thank you Jeff, Aiden, Jenny, and Olivia!
The day of Walls!! Since the weather was good we decided to build the walls outside.
First we cut the wood and then framed them up. Thank you David and Eli.
We built the floor in the garage and then moved it out to the driveway.
We then covered it with vinyl and that was a day. Thank you John and the cousins!!
I recieved my materials from Home Depot and we sorted for an hour or so. Thank you Aiden.
My visit to the tiny home village at 18th & Yesler Way in Seattle. Thank you for setting this up Andrew.
